APPLICABLE LAWS These terms are intended to neither counter nor reduce any rights you have as a consumer. In all cases, any disputes which may arise will be subject to the prevailing laws and acts of the Republic of South Africa.
GENERAL LIMITATION OF LIABILITY We are not liable for any injury, loss or damage suffered by our customers through the use of Made Wonderfully products and services, save those resulting in gross negligence or wilful or intentional acts committed by our employees.
Standard & Custom Order Procedures
- Orders will be confirmed in writing within 2 working days of receipt.
- Please ensure all details are correctly stated.
- Please advise us of any errors or changes within 24 hours of receipt of confirmation.
Products & Pricing
- Free delivery within Gauteng. Special arrangements can be made for deliveries outside Gauteng.
- Wood is a natural product, and the colours may differ from the photographs or physical samples seen. Natural wood has features which include knots, checks, and shakes. These features are considered natural and acceptable “defects” and are not quality problems.
- All our wood is picked randomly from a stack and we do not practice any wood selection.
- Wood movement as well as colour change is considered natural features. A tolerance of 5mm per linear metre is allowed for bowing, warping and sagging.
- Due to the fact that all of our products are handcrafted, they will have imperfections and unevenness on the surface which is not faulty and neither do they have quality problems.
Payments
- The full balance is payable PRIOR TO SHIPPING.
- We are NOT a registered credit provider and are not permitted to supply goods on credit terms.
- EFT payments will only be deemed received once reflected on our bank statement.
- All prices are payable in South African rands.
- Goods remain the property of Made Wonderfully until paid for in full
Delivery
- Our current area of delivery is Gauteng. Special arrangements can be made for deliveries outside Gauteng.
- Delivery is within 7 working days.
- Free delivery within Gauteng. Special arrangements can be made for deliveries outside Gauteng.
- When we receive your order you will receive an email. When your order has been shipped you will receive another confirmation email.
- Made Wonderfully uses a reputable, external delivery company when delivering furniture to selected provinces. The utmost care is taken when your furniture is being transported, however, Made Wonderfully nor the delivery company will not be held liable for any loss and/or damages incurred to furniture in transit, or during loading and offloading. It is the customer’s responsibility to insure the furniture, either through their own insurance provider or through the insurance provided by the removal company at an additional charge.
Refunds & Returns
- If you wish to return a product which you have purchased please send us an email. Please include your order name and number, as well as the reason why you would like to return your product. We will then evaluate your reasoning and if it is deemed unfit by our inspection team for any reason we reserve the right to deny your refund.
- We do not refund any product that has acceptable defects. We also do not allow refunds for products that is not considered faulty or products which does not have quality problems
- The products advertised are unique, and for that reason, we ensure that we provide our clients with photographs of the product and a detailed description. For that reason, a 30% handling fee will be applicable on the total amount of the returned item which will be deducted from your refund.
- We do not accept any returns after 7 days regardless of the reason for the return.
- We do not accept refunds on custom orders.
Exchanges
The products advertised are unique and for that reason, we cannot exchange a product
Important Final Notes
- •Wood breathes, moves and even shrinks. It exudes aromas and most importantly it changes colour.
- Wood has characteristic grain patterns, knots, checks and shakes. These are considered features and not defects.
- Because of natural variations of wood, we cannot guarantee the exact colour of your furniture. Our materials are randomly selected and mixed, and the tone and grain patterns will vary from one piece of wood to the other.
